Meet Helena

Kinesiologist, Artist, Educator, Facilitator, Coach & Mentor 

Helena is a qualified systematic kinesiologist, artist and educator who specialises in helping people to regain balance in both their personal and professional lives. Helena has a BA in Public Administration, an MA in Drama & Theatre Studies, a PhD in Performance Practice and is also a qualified arts and empowerment facilitator. An experienced performer and documentary playwright, she has produced, directed and performed in a variety of plays and community projects with a focus on social change.​

During her time as a Senior Lecturer in Drama at Bath Spa University in the UK, she designed and delivered courses such as Building the Ensemble, Applied Theatre and Theatre for Social Change. She was also Director of the Arts and Social Change Research Group and more recently was External Examiner for the BA Applied Drama: Education, Well-being and Community at the University of Wales.

Helena continues to work in the arts on both theatre and community projects where her focus is on providing transformative health and wellbeing experiences for both individuals and groups. She is also a course leader for Kinesiology Zone Ireland and runs their Balanced Health Course in Co. Clare twice yearly. A registered member of the Association of Systematic Kinesiology of Ireland, Helena operates a private practice in Limerick and Clare.
